You know those memes on facebook about that person at a party who just sits in the floor and plays with the dog? Yeah, that’s me. So when Shelby asked if they could do a few photos during their E-session with their new teeny-tiny pup, Maddux I was SO excited!!
And, of course, one crazy engagement session this weekend wasn’t enough and this one MAY take the cake. When Shelby and I started talking about the details of their engagement session she told me that it would have to be a weekend because of their crazy schedules so I found the few weekend dates I had open in my schedule and sent them over. She emailed me back saying that 4/30 was perfect.
Only it wasn’t. I mean it was – the session was great, but the timing was terrible. Neither of us knew until the morning of the session that 4/30 just happened to be the same day as Taste of Marietta and all of you locals know they basically down all of downtown and a million people come out to try a little bit of every type of food the city has to offer which is a pretty awesome way to spend a Sunday but it’s not a pretty awesome situation to navigate through while shooting an engagement session. Luckily, I knew of a few spots that I knew would be crowd free and I got there early enough to scout a few more so you wouldn’t even know that just outside these alleys was a sea of people.
This adventure was definitely one for the books and I can’t wait to see Maddux’s mommy and daddy tie the knot this fall!
